miwa is a singer-songwriter from Kanagawa. Debuting with don't cry anymore while at Keio University, her album guitarissimo became the first by a Heisei-born female singer-songwriter to top Oricon. After hits like the drama theme Hikari e she appeared on Kohaku Uta Gassen. Acoustic guitar in hand, with a translucent voice, she has written themes for Silver Spoon and My Hero Academia Season 3.
