Humbreaders is a four-piece rock band from Osaka, formed to play at a high school festival and anchored by frontman Akira Mutsumuro, who writes and composes every song. Built on the concept of never-ending adolescence and the catchphrase we came up from the bottom of the school caste to sing about youth, they have won listeners with lyrics that portray universal scenes of adolescence at eye level. They have made their mark on anime themes as well, with Yoake no Uta (ED of Magic Maker), Feedback wo Narashite (OP of Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective), Shimi (ED of Meikyu Black Company), and Hikari (OP of Shinobu no Ittoki).
