A male idol group built around two subunits: elder trio Tonisen of Masayuki Sakamoto, Hiroshi Nagano, and Yoshihiko Inohara, and younger trio Kamisen of Tsuyoshi Morita, Ken Miyake, and Junichi Okada. Debuting as image characters for a volleyball world championship, they thrived across variety shows, drama, and stage. They performed 'CHANGE THE WORLD', the opening of the hit Rumiko Takahashi yokai-action Inuyasha set in a feudal-era world. Its driving rock sound vividly framed the heroes' adventures and, together with the memorable opening animation, became widely recognized overseas as well.
