Masami Okui is a Hyogo-born singer-songwriter and lyricist-composer who moved into the anisong scene after her chorus work and went on to handle themes for classics such as 'Rinbu-revolution,' the opening of Revolutionary Girl Utena, and 'Jama wa Sasenai,' an ending for Slayers NEXT. Known for high, propulsive vocals, she is also a member of JAM Project and is regarded as a driving force of the anisong scene.
