Aiko Kayo
Artist
カヨウアイコ
A Japanese female singer whose voice combines clarity with inner strength, and who provided songs to anime as a young artist. Her debut single 'Hitomi no Naka no Meikyuu' was adopted as the opening of Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito, the fantasy depicting a beautiful, enigmatic world of books and bonds. She went on to perform 'Aishite ne, Motto', an ending of the superpowered battle Tenjho Tenge; 'Ienai Kotoba', an ending of the dark-hero tale Samurai Gun set in a Bakumatsu-style world; and 'Kokoro no Wakusei ~Little planets~', an ending of the boys' powers-battle comedy The Law of Ueki, adding fragile yet gentle resonance to many works.
