Furui Riho is a Hokkaido-born Japanese singer-songwriter whose musical roots lie in the gospel choir she sang in from childhood, and who also draws on the English sensibility she developed while studying in Canada to build a groovy style that extends from writing and composing into arrangement. Her song Hello, her first anime tie-up, was written for and serves as the opening theme of the TV anime CITY THE ANIMATION, warmly voicing a resolve to keep facing forward amid everyday anxieties.
