Misaki is a Japanese singer-songwriter from Nagasaki Prefecture. A string of Japanese and Western song covers she posted on TikTok during high school went viral in quick succession, and while keeping a faceless presentation she has widened her reach with original material, gaining support across generations through relatable lyrics about everyday romance and a delicate voice. She wrote Tayutau Mama ni, the ending theme of the TV anime The Water Magician, weaving Celtic-tinged, fairylike sounds to depict the heroine Sarah's first feelings of love.
