ELLEGARDEN is a Japanese rock band of Takeshi Hosomi, Shinichi Ubukata, Yuichi Takada, and Hirotaka Takahashi. Loved as a major influence on the Japanese rock scene, they are known for breakneck melodic guitar rock and frequent English lyrics. 'Carmine', the opening theme for the TV anime ONE PIECE Egghead arc — written by longtime fan and frontman Takeshi Hosomi — marks the band's first anime theme song.
