Widely supported for his soft yet centered voice, lyrical writing, and acoustic-guitar-driven pop melodies, he scored a nationwide hit with 'Himawari no Yakusoku', the theme of the film Stand by Me Doraemon, and has written many songs for anime and films, including 'Rain' (ED of Makoto Shinkai's The Garden of Words) and 'Toumei Datta Sekai' (ED of Naruto Shippuden).
