Kaya is a female singer and voice actress from Minami-Alps, Yamanashi. She rose to attention by proving her ability on televised singing programs, and her trademark is a soaring, powerful voice. In the media-mix project Utahime Dream she voices and sings for the character HiREN, a 'breakup-song singer' who stays close to the lonely and the sad. She wrote 'Reincarnation', the opening theme of the TV anime Hero Without a Class: Who Even Needs Skills?!, and has continued to land anime tie-ins including 'Sanctuary', the opening of Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing, and 'Flare of Soul', the theme song for The Saint Who Was Reincarnated Hides Being a Saint.
