XAI is a female singer signed to Toho Entertainment. She debuted after winning the newly created Artist Award at the 8th Toho Cinderella Audition, and made her major-label debut with 'WHITE OUT', the theme song of the animated film GODZILLA: Planet of the Monsters. The song was produced by Masayuki Nakano of BOOM BOOM SATELLITES, with lyrics by Sachiko Aoyama of Negoto, and drew attention as a symbolic debut whose release date coincided with her 20th birthday. She combines a translucent, husky voice with dynamic expressiveness that moves between rock and pop. She also performs 'Sono Hitomi de', the ending theme of the TV anime Who Made Me a Princess.
