Ai Tomioka is a female singer-songwriter from Tokyo. Having lived in Australia from age four until the end of junior high before returning to Japan for high school, she is known for English-mixed lyrics and a polished melodic sense. She began writing songs at 17 and built her world through street shows and social media, winning a following with a self-produced approach that covers writing, composing and artwork. She wrote 'beat up', the ending theme of the TV anime DIGIMON BEATBREAK, with lyrics and music by herself and arrangement by MEG (MEGMETAL), a cheer song depicting a figure who keeps walking forward believing in themselves, carried by ringing guitars and emotional vocals.
