Mao Abe is a female singer-songwriter from Oita Prefecture. With lyrics that capture raw emotion and a powerful vocal delivery, she has built a loyal following led by women of her generation, and since her 2009 debut album Free she has performed theme songs for anime including Shoumetsu Toshi, Baby Steps, The Unwanted Undead Adventurer, and Suspicious Adventurers Seem to Save the World. For 「Ding-dong」, the opening theme of Invisible Man and Visible Woman: Two Who'll Eventually Become a Couple, she wrote an expansive song that translates the warmth of the source manga into sound.
