He rose to prominence after posting singing videos on video-sharing sites, and original songs such as 'Yokun' and 'Ruirui' logged very high view counts. Winning broad support with vocals that balance clarity and shadow and songwriting that captures subtle emotional shifts, he made his major debut from a label under Universal. He performed 'Yuuho', the OP theme for the TV anime 'Mr. Villain's Day Off', refreshingly coloring the laid-back days off of an evil-organization officer with a voice that seems to drift lightly and a pleasantly flowing groove.
