Sacra e sole is a music unit formed by vocalist Masayo Kawato and keyboardist Koichi Obata. The name is Italian for "the sacred and the sun," and true to this, the duo weaves a musical world that is at once majestic and warm. Their hallmarks are expansive, powerful vocals and dramatic, cinematic arrangements anchored by piano, producing songs that seem to let light stream into the listener's heart. They perform "Habatake," the opening theme of the TV anime Ooi! Tonbo, delivering a sweeping song that resonates with a story set in the Tokara Islands and its young hero's sense of taking flight.
