Singer-songwriter from Saga Prefecture (real name: Hidekatsu Chiwata). After a major debut with CHASE and a shift to solo work, he became known for a passionate, rock-rooted voice. He wrote, composed, and sang 'Kasabuta,' the OP of the anime Zatch Bell!, which won a user-vote award in Sony's Heisei Anison Awards for its portrayal of rising again after being hurt. He also wrote and composed 'Butter-Fly,' the OP of Digimon Adventure, and is highly regarded as a craftsman of heartfelt anison that resonates with both children and adults.
