A collaboration credit between the rock band BURNOUT SYNDROMES, known for many anime theme songs, and voice actress and singer Nao Toyama. They performed "Maou," the opening theme for the second cour of the TV anime The Misfit of Demon King Academy II, layering Toyama's voice as the character Arcana into the song itself. The grand arrangement of strings and heavy beats intertwines with the contrasting vocals of Kazumi Kumagai and Toyama to create a dramatic musical arc.
