Maki Otsuki is a female singer-songwriter from Fukui Prefecture. Under her previous name Maki Otsuki (written as 大槻真希), she sang "memories," an ending theme of the TV anime ONE PIECE, long cherished as one of the series' signature ballads. She has continued as a vocalist ever since and, for the Egghead arc of ONE PIECE, performed the ending theme "Dear sunrise." With her warm voice reminiscent of those early days and the expressive power she brings as a lyricist, she lends a deep, lingering emotion to the series.
