Male singer from Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture (real name: Akira Kushida). Once an R&B singer at U.S. military bases, he debuted with 'Karappo no Seishun' and appeared on NHK's Stage 101. He is famed for theme songs of Metal Hero and Super Sentai works such as Space Sheriff Gyaban, Sharivan, Shaider, and Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan, along with the Kinnikuman insert 'Kinnikuman Go Fight!' and the Godannar OP. He has also recently performed theme songs for works such as the anime Shinmai Ossan Boukensha, beloved across generations for his powerful, hard-edged voice.
