Minami is a Japanese singer-songwriter. Influenced by live footage of Yutaka Ozaki in middle school, she began writing lyrics, and took up composition after entering high school. She won the Grand Prix at the "2nd FlyingDog Audition" hosted by FlyingDog. She made her major debut with the single "Kawaki wo Ameku," which took the #1 spot on the Oricon Weekly Digital Album chart. The song was used as the opening theme for the TV anime "Domestic Girlfriend" (Domestic na Kanojo), and she also performed "Rude Looth Dance," the opening theme for "Record of Ragnarok II."
