Masatoshi Ono is a Japanese male singer known for his high-tone voice, said to span four octaves. He debuted through Sony Records with the single "Pure ni Nare," and his third single "You're the Only..." became a massive hit selling over 1.14 million copies, earning him numerous newcomer awards including the Japan Record Award's Best New Artist. Also active as the vocalist of the heavy metal band GALNERYUS, he has handled theme songs for the TV anime "Hunter x Hunter (2011)" and "Record of Ragnarok II."
