Huwie Ishizaki is a singer-songwriter and actor from Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture. Influenced by Tom Waits and David Bowie from childhood, he was active in the rock band astrcoast before turning solo. He made his major debut through Epic Records Japan with the mini album "Dai-san Wakusei Kokyoukyoku." Widely known also for writing "Sayonara Elegy" for Masaki Suda, he has handled theme songs for the TV anime "Dr. Stone: New World" and "Naruto Shippuden," among others.
