somei is a female singer-songwriter from Tokyo. Familiar with music from early childhood, she began live activities in middle school and debuted through Music Rain / MiCLOVER, a label within Sony Music. Her artist name conveys her wish to be a versatile performer who, like the Somei-Yoshino cherry blossom, accompanies the changing seasons and fleeting moments of people's lives. She made her debut with "Ureu Kado ni wa Fuku Kitaru," the opening theme for the TV anime "The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today," and also performed "Another Complex," the ending theme for the following "Our Rainy Protocol" (Bokura no Ameiro Protocol).
