Hiromi Uehara

Hiromi Uehara is a world-class jazz pianist and composer from Hamamatsu, Shizuoka. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, she rose to international prominence through her virtuosic technique and free-spirited expression, and as a Grammy-winning top player she now stands at the forefront of the jazz scene in Japan and abroad. For the animated film 'Blue Giant,' she handled the music in its entirety, composing nearly all of the score along with the trio JASS's original numbers 'FIRST NOTE,' 'N.E.W.,' 'WE WILL,' and the end-roll piece 'BLUE GIANT,' and performing the piano parts herself.
