Hikaru Utada is a Japanese female singer-songwriter. She made a striking debut in 1998 with the single "Automatic/time will tell," and her first album "First Love," released the following year, posted one of the biggest sales figures in J-pop history. She has since remained a widely supported artist both in Japan and internationally. For anime and film she has created songs that resonate deeply with the worlds of their works, including "Sakura Nagashi" for "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo," "One Last Kiss" for "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time," "PINK BLOOD" as the opening of "To Your Eternity," and "JANE DOE" for the film "Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc."
