A male singer from Fukuchiyama, Kyoto. He made his major debut with Butter-Fly, the theme of Digimon Adventure, and became an anison singer whose career moved in lockstep with the Digimon series. He went on to perform themes and insert songs for Digimon Adventure 02, Digimon Tamers, Digimon Frontier, and other entries, and also sang Honoo no Overdrive for Transformers: Car Robots. His powerful, straight-ahead voice earned him the fan nickname 'the immortal butterfly of anison,' leaving a major mark on anime-song history.
