JO1 is a Japanese eleven-member boy group formed through the audition-reality TV show 'PRODUCE 101 JAPAN' and signed to LAPONE ENTERTAINMENT. They made their debut in March 2020 with the single 'PROTOSTAR,' quickly winning the Best 5 New Artists honor at the Japan Gold Disc Awards. Their name expresses the idea that all the trainees who pursued their dreams together on the show will become one and aim for the top of the world. They also performed 'Move The Soul,' the opening theme for the TV anime 'Fanfare of Adolescence' / 'Gunjou no Fanfare,' bringing passionate energy to the coming-of-age drama of young men training to become jockeys.
