A Ying P was a Japanese female idol unit formed in 2012 as part of the "Anime unauthorized cheering project" jointly launched by Nikkei Entertainment! and Anime Theater X. The group gathered anime-loving girls under one act dedicated to cheering on anime. They broke through with "Hanamaru Pippi wa Yoiko Dake," the opening theme for the first season of "Osomatsu-san," and their follow-up "Zenryoku Batankyu" debuted at No. 2 on Oricon. A specialist in anime tie-ups, they remained active until 2021.
