mol-74 is a Japanese rock band formed in Kyoto in 2010. Built around vocalist Kazuki Takeichi's crystalline falsetto, the four-piece is known for delicate, cinematic soundscapes reminiscent of Scandinavian post-rock. They made their major debut in 2019 with the self-titled album "mol-74," and later provided "Replica," the ending theme to the TV anime "Blue Period," wrapping that series' story of art and self-discovery in warm, textured indie rock.
