Memai SIREN was a Japanese rock band formed in Fukuoka, fronted by vocalist Kyodera with a lineup of guitar, bass, keyboard/vocals, and drums. The group was known for bleak, world-weary lyrics set against raw, propulsive rock that captured feelings of suffocation and powerlessness in everyday life. After moving from indie to major-label status, they provided anime tie-ups including the ending theme for "pet," before eventually ending their activities.
