Lead is a Japanese dance-vocal group consisting of Shinya Taniuchi, Keita Furuya, and Akira Kagimoto. Debuting in the early 2000s as teenagers, they quickly drew attention by winning Best New Artist and Gold Prize honors at the Japan Record Awards. With each member handling vocals, rap, and dance, they built a devoted fan base through sharp synchronized choreography and relentlessly athletic live shows. They have contributed to multiple anime tie-ups and expanded into musical theater and stage work in recent years.
