He performed 'Kaerimichi no Iro,' the ending theme of the TV anime Kumichou Musume to Sewagakari (The Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting), written, composed, and arranged by ANCHOR. The nostalgic, warm melody and his gentle vocals were praised as a perfect fit for the manga and anime's worldview. As his first anime tie-up, the music video also featured illustrations newly drawn by the original manga author Tsukiya.
