A collaboration credit between rapper-singer DAOKO and singer-songwriter Yasuyuki Okamura, the funk-rooted artist affectionately known as 'Okamura-chan'. A longtime fan of Okamura, DAOKO approached him to work together when she was offered an anime ED theme, and he agreed. The result, 'Step Up LOVE', became the ED theme of the TV anime 'Blood Blockade Battlefront & BEYOND'. With composition and arrangement by Okamura and lyrics co-written by both artists, the song contrasts DAOKO's cool rap and vocals against Okamura's intense shouting, accompanied by a music video staged as a dance battle, choreographed by MIKIKO and directed by Yuichi Kodama.
