A character duo from the TV anime 'Kumamiko - Girl Meets Bear'. The pair consists of Machi Amayadori (CV: Natsumi Hioka), a middle-school shrine maiden serving the remote Kumade Shrine in the mountains of Tohoku, and Natsu Kumai (CV: Hiroki Yasumoto), a large talking Asian black bear who acts as the deity's messenger. Their combination perfectly mirrors the manga's deadpan rural fantasy. Together with the villagers of Kumade, they performed the ED theme 'KUMAMIKO DANCING', a humorous bon-odori-style anthem that has become emblematic of the series.
