A special collaboration credit pairing female singer Aimer with chelly, the front vocalist of the rotating-vocalist project EGOIST. For the noitaminA TV anime 'Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress,' where EGOIST handled the opening and Aimer the ending, the two singers joined forces under the production of series composer Hiroyuki Sawano to complete the ending theme 'ninelie.' Over Sawano's signature sweeping strings and programmed beats, Aimer's smoky low register intertwines with chelly's translucent tone to portray the prayers and hopes of those surviving in a doomsday world.
