Japanese three-piece band consisting of Ikuko Harada on vocals and keyboards, Mito on bass, and Daisuke Itoh on drums. The trio first met as students of jazz at a music vocational school, and their music freely crosses jazz, pop, electronica, and folk into a shape-shifting sound all their own. The band's name comes from a mysterious creature in Kenji Miyazawa's fairy tale Yamanashi. They are widely known in the anime world for Hanasaku Iroha, the ending of the TV anime Hanasaku Iroha, and have also contributed an ending for the music-themed TV anime ClassicaLoid, bringing their warm yet experimental sensibility to each tie-up.
