Voice actress and singer Shino Shimoji, from Okinawa, gained popularity playing the heroine Akari Ozora in the Aikatsu! idol-anime series, and she leveraged her bright, focused voice to launch a recording career. For the high-school comedy Stella no Mahou, which follows girls aspiring to become manga artists, she performed the opening theme God Save The Girls, released as her debut single. Her fresh delivery captures both the highs of youth and its grounded anxieties. Alongside her voice work, she pursues music, ranging from character songs to her own solo material.
