A musical unit from the stage musical Touken Ranbu, made up of the Sanjo-school Touken Danshi (Mikazuki Munechika, Kogitsunemaru, Ishikirimaru, and Iwatooshi) joined by the Shinsengumi-affiliated Kashuu Kiyomitsu. They perform theme and insert songs for the stage series, fusing stately Japanese melodies with modern rock and pop. Beginning with their debut single Touken Ranbu, they have achieved exceptional reach for a 2.5-D-born act, including appearances on Kohaku Uta Gassen and NHK music programs, drawing attention from both stage fans and a wider music audience.
