A female singer from Chiba Prefecture. She debuted as the original vocalist of the electronic duo fripSide, leaving a vivid mark on the anime and game-music scene with her translucent high notes and powerful singing. After graduating from fripSide she founded the music circle DystopiaGround and launched a solo career, taking on numerous PC and console game themes across genres from serious ballads to rock, denpa, and moe styles. She has continued to provide anime themes including Believe x Believe, the opening of Absolute Duo, and Yume ga Kanau Toki, an ending for Duel Masters.
