A veteran singer and actor from Tokyo, best known for the signature hit Ai no Memory and a string of other classics. With his deep tan, rich vocal power, and commanding stage presence, he has remained at the forefront for over half a century. For anime he sang the polished ballad Kimi no Uta as the ending theme for the TV anime COBRA THE ANIMATION, faithful to the original work's mood, and also contributed Saa Ikou! as an insert song for Bikkuriman 2000.
