A Japanese female singer-songwriter from Shizuoka Prefecture. Centering her work on acoustic guitar-based self-accompaniment, she writes both lyrics and music for her own songs. She made her major debut on Lantis with the single 'Mou Sukoshi… Mou Sukoshi…', which was adopted as the ending theme for the TV anime 'Midori Days'. She went on to provide multiple anime theme songs including 'Ai', the opening of the TV anime 'Kujibiki Unbalance', and 'Yumeiro no Koi', the ending of the TV anime 'Mitsudomoe'. Her songs, with their down-to-earth lyrics and straightforward vocals, dovetail well with coming-of-age and slice-of-life anime, marking her out as a creator suited to ending themes.
