A Japanese composer, arranger and singer from Kanagawa Prefecture who launched his career after winning the grand prize at a commercial-song audition. While active as a singer-songwriter, he has also built a broad portfolio in soundtrack work. Following his film-score debut on the theatrical anime 'Appleseed', he scored numerous SF and hero-genre titles including the CG film 'Captain Harlock', and the TV anime 'Kemurikusa' and 'Marvel Future Avengers'. For the Marvel-and-Japanese-anime line connected to the 'Iron Man' brand, he supplied tracks such as 'Activation' and 'The Fight Never Ends', earning recognition as a creator who underpins hero narratives through music.
