Takako Matsu is a Tokyo-born actress and singer who launched her music career in 1997 with the debut single Ashita, Haru ga Kitara, a major hit propelled by its use as a commercial tie-in. She voiced Elsa in the Japanese dub of Disney's Frozen films, performing Let It Go and Into the Unknown, and joined the multi-language Elsa performance at the Academy Awards, drawing international attention. In anime, she contributed the ending theme Kitto Tsutaete to Kemono no Souja Erin, an NHK Educational TV 50th anniversary work, bringing a poised and resonant voice to the show's reflective close.
