Oasis is a globally famous rock band from Manchester, England that rose to prominence in the 1990s. Falling Down, written by Noel Gallagher, appeared on their 2008 album Dig Out Your Soul and was released as a single in 2009, selected as the opening theme for the TV anime Eden of the East broadcast on Fuji TV's noitamina block. The Japanese single shipped with a DVD featuring an original music video produced by the anime's staff, marking one of the rare anime tie-up tracks in Oasis's catalogue and an emblem of the show's urban, mysterious world.
