Tsuru is a three-member rock band from Tsurugashima, Saitama, formed in 2003 and making their major debut on Warner Music Japan in 2008. The members are recognized for their distinctive look featuring afros, glasses, patterned shirts they call kimoshirts, and bootcut pants. For the Fuji TV anime GeGeGe no Kitaro (5th series), they provided Natsu no Mamono as the ending theme, lending a summer nostalgia to its yokai world. They also performed Moeru you na Koi ja nai kedo as the ending theme for Cross Game, accompanying the delicate human drama with their lyrical rock sound.
