Nobuo Uematsu is a composer known worldwide for the music of the Final Fantasy series at Square (now Square Enix). He has handled a wide range of game music from majestic orchestral pieces to symphonic rock, establishing a reputation that transcends the boundaries of game music. For the TV anime Guin Saga, based on Kaoru Kurimoto's grand heroic fantasy novel series, he took on anime score work for the first time and composed the opening theme Guin's Theme. Tsutomu Narita handled the arrangement and synth programming, with additional arrangement by Hiroyuki Nakayama. Across a two-CD original soundtrack, he depicted the sprawling sword-and-sorcery world in music.
