OGRE YOU ASSHOLE is a rock band formed in Suwa, Nagano Prefecture in 2001. Influenced by US indie rock while weaving in Japanese elements, the four-member group has built a psychedelic and distinctively floating sound. For the anime Souten Kouro, based on Kingyo Wang's manga set in the Three Kingdoms era, the title track Pinhole from their first single after moving to the VAP label was chosen as the ending theme. With lyrics by Manabu Deto and music and arrangement by the band, they lent the curtain call of this sweeping historical scroll about Cao Cao a reflective and lyrical alternative rock afterglow. They also have a following among overseas artists.
