orange pekoe is a male-female duo formed in 1998 by vocalist Tomoko Nagashima and guitarist Kazuma Fujimoto. They are known for a distinctive sound that sublimates various musical strands, including jazz, Latin, Brazilian music, and soul. For the BS Fuji anime Ristorante Paradiso, based on Natsume Ono's manga depicting bittersweet adult romance set in an Italian restaurant, they performed the opening theme Marigold. Their jazzy and gorgeous arrangement matched the stylish story set in a Rome restaurant exquisitely, adding refined musical colour to this anime for adult viewers.
