Yu Yamada is a fashion model, actress, and singer from Okinawa Prefecture. While she works as a top model in magazines and advertising, she also made her solo debut on Pony Canyon in 2006 with the dance tune REAL YOU and has continued musical activities. For the TV Tokyo anime Blue Dragon, she performed the ending theme Fly So High, providing an exhilarating dance number to this adventure fantasy about young heroes. She then sang the ending theme free for Basquash!, the sci-fi basketball anime, colouring the afterglow of this story where mecha and hot-blooded sports intersect with a fashionable and dynamic vocal performance.
