JIMANG is a male Japanese vocalist who made his major-label debut in 2006. He is known for a deep, weighty voice and a sound that fuses operatic grandeur with heavy-metal weight. For the TV anime Umineko no Naku Koro ni, adapted from Ryukishi07's doujin game, he wrote, composed, and performed the ending theme la divina tragedia ~Makyoku~, infusing darkness, anguish, madness, and melancholy through a song built around the character Kinzo Ushiromiya. With the witch Beatrice on the jacket and tarot-card bonuses tied to the show, the ending became a strong sonic anchor for the series' dense world.
